Payroll module helps in effective management of employees payroll. It maintains the information regarding the employees, various salary grades, employees salaries and benefits applicable. It also keeps track of employees’ attendance and leave status. This module generates the salary information every month on a regular period and maintains the complete information including history information. It also maintains information regarding the promotions effective periods, monitors arrears etc and maintains employee accounts. This module interfaces with the human resource management module, which keeps further specialization skills of these employees. This module interfaces with financial accounting module and raises necessary vouchers for the payments of salaries to the employees. It also interfaces with the financial management modules for accessing the information regarding budgets for wages etc. It also provides information for budgeting to the financial management module. This module interfaces with costing module to provide the direct and indirect labour cost for various cost centres. The accounts receivable and payable module is constantly updated from this module, so that it may be able to assess the wages due to estimate overall cash flow position. The module has a proper interface with the production planning and shop floor module, which update the payroll module regarding the overtime done by the employees.

Human Resource Management Module helps in management of personnel resources of an organisation. This modules maintain the educational, experience and skills profile of employees. This module also handles the allocations and availability of the employees for various production jobs. It prepares the manpower availability plan, considering the production plan from production planning and shop floor management module and machines utilisation plan from the capacity utilisation module, and money resource plan (i.e. wage budgets) from the financial management module. This module also interacts with all these modules for providing the requisite feedback. There is a strong interface with payroll module, which maintains the wage information of employees. This module maintains the performance-related data for employees and also plans for the skill up gradations of the employees.
